In order to install a trial version of the software, you need to go on the documentation page.
Get/Click:
– ROBOSIMPRO SETUP GUIDE: to get the manual that will help you perform the installation.
– TRIAL : ROBOSIMPRO SETUP (64BIT): the software itself.

The document will tell you how to generate the Server code of your machine.
You will have to send it back to us and we will generate a trial license file (30 days).

If you are installing ROBOSIMPRO for the first time, then install the 64bit(x64) version.
In the future, there will not be any 32bit version as our CAD Core provider (Spatial) will discontinue the 32bit version of Acis.

If you have already used the software, it is likely you have been using the 32bit(x86) version.
(Check the link to start the software. We use MicroSoft convention : 32bit is x86 and 64bit is x64.)
As the data between 32 and 64bit is NOT compatible, you will have to install the 32bit version.

We can provide some services to convert your data, from 32 to 64bit.
However, we will provide a quotation depending of the amount of data there is to convert.

Contact your Comau representative.
He will tell you the procedure to download the software.

Yes, the License Manager requires a DONGLE and a license file.
Both will be provided by Comau.

After having installed the software, plug the dongle.
You should also have received a license file.
Copy it in the folder C:\Comau_Products (default folder for the software).
Rename it license.txt.

Start the software (an icon has been created on the Desktop) : the FlexNet License Finder will appear.
Select : Specify the License File and select C:\Comau_Products\license.txt.

In the future, when you’re license has expired and you’ve renewed it,
Simply delete the existing (but expired) license file ; put the new license file there and rename it license.txt.

After having installed the software, plugged the dongle and selected the license file, simply execute the link in the Start Menu (in Comau Products) or doubleclick on the icon that has been created on the desktop.
We suggest you first take the time to watch the training videos to get familiar with the environment.

The website is under remodeling.
So All the robots might not have been (yet) uploaded on the website.
Or maybe your robot is brand new and it has not yet been developed for ROBOSIMPRO?
In any case, use the Contact form to request your robot and we will upload it on the website as soon as possible.

Go in the Robots Models section.
Select the robot you want and download the 32bit or the 64bit version, depending of the version of the software you are using.

Unzip the file you get and copy the folder you get (usually c5g_xxxx_xx) in your installation builds directory
(usually : C:\Comau_products\COMAU_RoboSimPro.xxxx\cim\builds\)

Start the software and go in the Robots menu : Click on the option Update Robots Library.
Then Quit and Restart the software.
When you open the Install panel, the new robot should be in the list of the available robots)

We have all kind of CAD Interfaces.
However, by default, you can only use ACIS, STEP and IGES interfaces.
We also have Direct CAD Interface, like CatiaV6, CatiaV5, CatiaV4, Inventor, Parasolid, Siemens NX, SolidWorls, STL,…
